Type or draw your signature, place it on the page, send it for counter-signatures with an audit trail. No desktop client, no installer, no SaaS account-creation gauntlet.
If you've signed a contract in the past five years, you probably know the routine: an email pops up, you click a link, you're sent through a sign-up flow for an e-signature SaaS, you sign, the company keeps a copy of your signed document forever, and you forget the account exists until the next invoice surprise.
We built Arawa PDF's Sign tool to skip all of that — without losing the legitimate parts (the audit trail, the embedded signature, the per-signer tokens).
Two flows: signing your own PDF, and sending a PDF for someone else to sign.
For your own PDF: open the tool, drop in the file, draw or type your signature, drag it onto the page, click finalise. The output is a flattened PDF with the signature stamped in. No envelope, no account required, no audit trail (because you're not asking anyone to vouch for anything).
For a counter-signature: create an envelope, add recipients, add signature fields, send. Each recipient gets a unique signing link. When they sign, we record their name, email, IP, and timestamp into an audit log linked to that envelope. The final PDF is stamped with the signatures and the audit-log summary.
Honestly: a simple electronic signature. Visible on the page, audit-trailed, but not a qualified or accredited signature under the EU's eIDAS Regulation, Pakistan's Electronic Transactions Ordinance, or any specific jurisdiction's "advanced" signature standard.
For the vast majority of business agreements, NDAs, internal forms, and consent letters, a simple electronic signature is legally binding in most jurisdictions. For the specific cases where the law requires a qualified signature — certain real-estate transactions in some EU member states, certain notarial acts — Arawa PDF Sign is not the right tool. Use a Qualified Trust Service Provider.
We say this in the Terms and in the tool itself. We'd rather be honest about the scope than over-promise.
The signed PDF is deleted from our storage one hour after the envelope is finalised, on the same schedule as every other file on Arawa PDF. The audit-log summary stays linked to the envelope record for as long as the envelope exists, which means until you delete it from your account. Once you delete the envelope, the audit log is deleted with it.
If you want a long-term copy of the signed document for your records, download it. We don't keep a permanent archive on your behalf.
Premium accounts get template envelopes (pre-set recipient lists and field positions) and a contacts book for repeat signers. Both are optional. The basic flow — drop a file, add a recipient, send — works without either.
Signing a document is one of the most personal things you do online. The simplest tool that respects that — drag the signature onto the page, save the file, optionally route it through one or two co-signers with an audit trail — is the right size. Bigger e-signature platforms exist because enterprise compliance needs them. Most people don't. We built Arawa PDF Sign for most people.
