These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Arawa PDF, the operator of the service at arawapdf.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, uploading a file, or using any tool on the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" refers to that organisation as well as the individual using the Service.

Arawa PDF is a web service offering more than 70 tools for working with PDF documents — including merging, splitting, compressing, converting, editing, e-signing, and AI features such as summarisation and translation. Every tool is currently free to use without an account. We may offer paid "Premium" plans in the future; if we do, the payment terms in this agreement will apply to them.

The "Sign PDF" feature produces a visible electronic signature with an audit trail. It is not a qualified electronic signature (QES) under EU Regulation 910/2014 (eIDAS) and is not designed to meet jurisdictional requirements for advanced or qualified signatures. If you require a QES, do not rely on this feature.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your password confidential, and to notify us at support@arawapdf.com if you suspect any unauthorised access. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

You agree not to: (a) upload content you do not have the right to process, including content that infringes copyright or unlawfully discloses third-party personal data; (b) use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others; (c) interfere with the Service — including by abusing rate limits, probing for vulnerabilities without authorisation, or running automated scrapers against tool endpoints; (d) upload malware or use the Service to host or distribute it; (e) resell or proxy access to the Service without our written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Repeated or serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.

You retain all rights to the files you upload. By uploading, you grant Arawa PDF a limited, non-exclusive licence to process the file solely to perform the tool action you requested.

Files are encrypted at rest and deleted automatically one hour after processing. We do not retain backups beyond that window. The one-hour retention is a deliberate design choice to minimise the time your data is on our systems. If you need permanent storage of an output, download it before the window expires.

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in U.S. dollars (USD) through Stripe, our payment processor. By purchasing, you authorise recurring charges at the price displayed when you subscribed, plus any applicable taxes (including Pakistani federal or provincial sales tax on services where applicable).

You may cancel at any time from your account at /user/billing. After cancellation, your subscription continues until the end of the current billing period; you will not be charged again.

14-day money-back guarantee. You may request a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase or of any renewal, no questions asked. Email support@arawapdf.com from the address on your account and we will process the refund through Stripe (typically 5–10 business days to land on your statement). After the 14-day window, cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period. Prepaid signature credits that have already been consumed are not refundable. Where local law grants you stronger statutory refund rights, those rights take precedence over this clause.

We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.

The Service — including the source code, design, brand, and documentation — is owned by Arawa PDF and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service beyond the limited right to use it as described.

You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the outputs the Service produces from them.

Summarize and Translate are powered by large language models supplied by Anthropic PBC. When you use these tools, text extracted from your PDF is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or biases. Do not rely on AI outputs for legal, medical, financial, or other consequential decisions without independent review. Anthropic's processing is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

If you do not want your document text sent to Anthropic, do not use these features.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. There is no Service Level Agreement (SLA) on the standard plan. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, security incidents, or to comply with the law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Arawa PDF be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, Arawa PDF's total cumulative liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid Arawa PDF in that period (or USD 100 if you paid nothing).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, where such limitations are prohibited by law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from /user. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation is no longer feasible.

On termination, your access to paid features ends. Account data is deleted 30 days after termination unless we are legally required to retain it (for example, Stripe invoice records for tax reporting).

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and material changes will be communicated on the site (and by email if you have an account). Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept, stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will first be addressed by good-faith negotiation between the parties; if not resolved within 30 days of written notice, by the competent courts of Pakistan, which the parties accept as the exclusive forum. Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
