Why convert a Word document to PDF before sending it?

A PDF locks the layout: recipients see exactly the pages you designed, regardless of their device, fonts or word processor. It also can't be casually edited the way a .docx can, which makes it the safer format for CVs, invoices and contracts.

Will my fonts and formatting stay the same?

Standard fonts, images, tables and page breaks carry over faithfully. If the document uses a rare font that isn't available to the converter, the closest matching font is substituted — embedding the font in Word before uploading avoids this.

Can I convert old .doc files, or only .docx?

Both. The converter accepts the legacy .doc format and the modern .docx format, so documents from any Word version can be turned into PDFs.

Is there a file size limit?

Up to 50 MB per document — enough for image-heavy reports and long manuscripts.

What happens to my document after the conversion?
