Is a typed electronic signature legally valid?

In many jurisdictions — for example under the US ESIGN Act or the EU's eIDAS regulation — simple electronic signatures can be valid for a wide range of agreements. Requirements vary by country and document type, though, so for high-stakes contracts check what your counterparty or local law requires. This tool places the signature; it does not provide legal certification or an audit trail.

Does my contract get uploaded when I sign it?

No. The document is opened, signed and saved entirely in your browser — it never touches our servers. You can keep the Network tab open while signing to verify that nothing is transmitted.

Can I send the document to someone else for their signature?

This tool is for signing a document yourself. It doesn't send signature requests, track other signers or collect an audit trail — if the other party also needs to sign, share the signed file with them and they can run it through the same tool.

Will my signature look pixelated when printed?

No. The signature is embedded as vector text rather than a pasted image, so it stays sharp at any zoom level and in print.

Can I sign more than one page?

Each pass places one signature. To sign in several places, download the signed copy and open it in the tool again — your earlier signature is already part of the document, so you can keep adding to it.
